Bachelor of Pharmacy

Bachelor of Pharmacy is a 4-year programme, divided equally into 8 semesters, offered at the graduate level in India. It is the essential and fundamental requirement for stepping in the field of Pharmacy. The course is designed to develop pharmacy professional to meet the requirement of Pharmaceutical Industry or to practice pharmacy in a community or hospital pharmacy.

Duration: Duration of the course is 4 years equally divided into 8 semesters. A candidate needs to complete the prescribed training in Pharmaceutical Industry.

Eligibility: For Admission to first year of B. Pharmacy candidate must have completed intermediate/10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board/University; securing minimum 45% (40% SC/ST) with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology.
For Admission to second year of B. Pharm. (Lateral entry) Candidate should have completed 2years Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized college/institute with minimum 60% marks.

Admission procedure: For admission to B. Pharmacy the eligible candidate will register himself/herself through either online mode at website portal or manually after coming to the college. After investigating the application, candidate seeking admission will be called for the test/interview. He/she will produce necessary documents including Aadhar card, provisional or original certificates of qualification required for the admission. After approval of the competent authority, candidate will pay the admission fees as per the university norms.
